Business Secretary Peter Kyle said he felt "sick to my stomach" over sexualised imagery appearing on X after being generated by the platform's Grok AI.
Mr Kyle told BBC Breakfast he had spoken to a Jewish woman whose likeness had been used to generate an image of her wearing a bikini outside the Auschwitz death camp.
"The fact that Grok was not tested appropriately for the impact it would have on women, in particular, is appalling," Mr Kyle said.
